Hi! We are the Kjendlie Family, the faces behind Kj’s Labradors. We live on a 80 acre farm in south central WI. Our farm consists mainly of hogs but we do have a few hobby animals such as horses, goats and chickens. 

 

Labradors are the breed of dog that both my husband, Troy, and I grew up with and our love for them continued when we purchased our first dog together 10 years ago, Axel. 

Axel, now retired and living his best life with us on the farm, is the face and foundation of Kj’s Labradors and the reason why we do what we do. 

 

Breeding and raising only the English type of Labrador for the main purpose of temperament. 

English Labradors are known for their calm demeanor, big thick blocky heads and shorter, stockier bodies. 

Axel showed us all of these characteristics especially the temperament when we started having babies. 

Our dogs and puppies are raised in our home so only having the best temperaments are acceptable as our kiddos are very young still. 

 

After doing some research about health issues that effect Labradors we health tested Axel along with OFA certified him and things came back well. That is when we decided to buy a female from a reputable breeder with fully health tested parents and the rest is history! 

 

We are excited and hopeful that our breeding program will not only give families around the country a healthy and beautiful English Labrador but better the breed as well.
